Cyient is seeking an RCCA Lead to address delivery performance drivers in a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead structured root cause analysis using existing data and cross-functional working sessions.
- Investigate manufacturing process and quality system failures to identify systemic causes of delivery delays.
- Develop a priority framework aligned with SIOP and operational planning cycles.
- Lead operational working sessions and reviews, driving action plans and monitoring progress.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to validate causes and corrective action feasibility.
- Maintain the root cause register with accountable owners, committed actions, and measurable outcomes.
- Escalate blockers requiring senior customer authority to the Program Lead.
Required qualifications
- Eligible to work in Canada and able to work on-site.
- 6+ years in aerospace manufacturing operations or quality engineering.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required; Black Belt is preferred.
- Proficient in Fishbone, 5-Why, Pareto analysis, and hypothesis testing in manufacturing.
- Direct experience facilitating cross-functional root cause sessions with engineering and operations participants.
- Working knowledge of SAP MRP and independent interpretation of ZC13 and ZP24 outputs.
- Strong analytical ability to distinguish constraints from symptoms in complex multi-plant environments.
