Roles and responsibilities
- Clean, analyze, and calculate insights from structured operational data using Python and Excel.
- Support the Data Analytics Lead in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports; pull data from Databricks when needed.
- Perform exploratory analysis to find trends, patterns, and anomalies, and connect data across operational systems to support root-cause analysis.
- Collect and validate stakeholder data, align definitions across sources, and prepare accurate reports, charts, and summaries.
- Create presentations about process improvement initiatives and communicate clear, actionable findings to stakeholders and senior management.
Required qualifications
- 2–4 years in a data analyst or similar hands-on analytics role.
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related field.
- Operational analytics exposure, such as production, quality, or supply-chain data.
- Strong Python skills for data manipulation and analysis, with Pandas or similar.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables; Power Query is a plus.
- Working SQL knowledge for querying and joining data.
- Exposure to Power BI, including dashboards and basic DAX, and Databricks data.
- Comfort preparing PowerPoint presentations, communicating with stakeholders, and working carefully with messy operational data.
- Manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial operations exposure is a plus, but not required.
Work arrangement
- Work location is in person in Longueuil, Quebec.
Pay
- Pay is $75,000–$80,000 per year.
