The Senior Scientist will shape the future of Cabot’s woodcare portfolio through science, innovation, and commercial strategy.

About Cabot’s
Cabot’s develops timber finishes including decking oils, stains, and varnishes.

What you will do
- Lead new product and technology development from concept to commercialisation.
- Translate consumer insights and market trends into woodcare solutions.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and external technology partners.
- Influence the innovation pipeline and help deliver customer value through category-leading products.
What we are looking for
- Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Proven R&D experience developing formulated products.
- Strong experimental design, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Track record leading product development from concept to commercialisation.
- Knowledge of paints, coatings, adhesives, building products, or consumer goods.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional influencing skills.
- Passion for innovation, sustainability, and customer-focused solutions.
