Role Overview

Stantec is looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor for a water infrastructure project in Dubai.

The project relates to infrastructure works, including water, stormwater, and pipeline systems as reflected in the source title.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in quantity surveying or a related discipline is required.
  • A BSc in Quantity Surveying is preferred.
  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as MRICS, are required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in quantity surveying is required.
  • Experience must cover infrastructure works and the listed quantity surveying, tendering, contract, claims, valuation, and post-contract activities.

Quantity Surveying Scope

  • Perform cost planning and quantity take-offs.
  • Prepare bills of quantities in CESMM format.
  • Prepare estimates, tender documents, contract documents, and reports.
  • Evaluate and negotiate claims.
  • Administer contracts after award.
  • Value variations and agree new rates.
  • Administer Taking Over Certificates and Defects Liability Certificates.
