Job Description
the Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing and monitoring project costs and quantities, including
quantity take-off, cost review, preparation of payment certificates, and supporting project financial
control processes to ensure works are delivered within the approved budget and achieve optimum
project value.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
- Review project costs and monitor project budgets
- Prepare interim and final payment certificates, variations, and claims
- Coordinate with technical teams and project management to ensure accuracy of quantities and
- executed works
- Monitor project progress and control costs throughout all project stages
- Assist in the evaluation of quotations, contracts, and subcontractors
- Prepare financial and project cost reports
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within construction projects
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost management, and construction contracts
- Experience in payment certificates, claims, and variation management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively
