Quantity Surveyor- Infrastructure Only- Developers Experience

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in infrastructure projects only. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, quantity take-offs, valuation of works, and commercial management of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, pipelines, rail, and related civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and manage subcontract agreements.
• Identify variations, prepare claims, and assess contractual entitlements.
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed work quantities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients on commercial matters.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, company procedures, and project requirements.
• Support procurement activities and material cost analysis.
• Prepare commercial reports and cost forecasts for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in infrastructure projects only.
• Proven experience in roads, utilities, drainage, pipelines, bridges, or large-scale civil infrastructure works.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and infrastructure project billing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Gulf/UAE infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with cost control systems and ERP software.
