Your new companyA well-established, family-owned fit-out and partitioning contractor based in Glasgow is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their growing team.
With a strong reputation across the Scottish market, this business delivers high-quality interior fit-out and partitioning projects across a range of sectors, with values typically up to £5 million.
Your new role
This is a varied and hands-on position, offering a blend of both Quantity Surveying and Estimating responsibilities.
You will work closely with the Director, supporting across the full project lifecycle-from tender stage through to final account.
The role provides excellent exposure to both commercial management and pre-construction activities within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- will include:
- Preparing and submitting competitive tenders and cost estimates
- Assisting in the commercial management of live projects
- Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Supporting project delivery to ensure cost efficiency and profitability
- Working closely with senior leadership on strategic and operational matters
- What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying and/or Estimating role, ideally within fit-out, interiors, or partitions
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across both pre- and post-contract stages
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to work within a close-knit team
