Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Dubai.
The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for interior design and turnkey projects.
Daily responsibilities include cost planning, cost control, and monitoring project budgets throughout the design and construction phases.
The role involves producing regular cost reports, supporting tendering and contract negotiations, and coordinating with design, project management, and procurement teams.
The Quantity Surveyor will help ensure commercial compliance, value for money, and alignment of project costs with client requirements and company standards.
Qualifications
- Strong cost planning and cost management skills, with experience in budgeting and forecasting for construction or interior design projects.
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation and cost control, including measurement, pricing, and managing variations.
- Ability to develop clear cost reporting, including periodic financial updates and final account summaries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional experience in fit-out, interior design, or construction projects in the UAE or GCC region.
- Knowledge of local building regulations, contracts, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and Excel skills, with familiarity in quantity surveying or cost estimation software.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with design, technical, and site teams.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
