Overview
The Quantity Surveyor will support cost management and contract administration activities for the KAFD project.
The role includes preparing BOQs, monitoring project costs, evaluating contractor payments, and ensuring financial and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and detailed quantity take-offs.
- Evaluate contractor payment applications, variations, and change orders.
- Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Review contract documents and identify financial or contractual risks.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and design teams to resolve commercial issues.
- Maintain accurate cost records, reports, and contract documentation.
- Participate in negotiations to ensure optimal value and cost efficiency.
