Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs, translate requirements into analytical deliverables, and communicate actionable insights
  • Design, build, and maintain SQL queries, dashboards, and reporting solutions from requirements through deployment and ongoing support
  • Produce product performance reporting, including key performance indicators and key risk indicators, with clear definitions and documentation
  • Analyze trends, identify growth opportunities and risks, and recommend actions to senior stakeholders
  • Deliver tailored analyses to answer complex, ambiguous questions and support strategic decision-making
  • Automate recurring reporting processes and apply disciplined source control and documentation practices
  • Support production reporting environments by troubleshooting issues, responding to stakeholder inquiries, and driving continuous improvement

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Master’s degree in a related field with three years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in a related field with five years of relevant experience
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience using Python for analytics and data workflows
  • Hands-on experience with modern data platforms and cloud services (for example, Snowflake and Amazon Web Services)
  • Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and analytics solutions using Tableau or similar data visualization tools
  • Demonstrated ability to apply advanced analytics and responsible generative artificial intelligence techniques to improve reporting, forecasting, anomaly detection, or business intelligence
  • Experience with large language models and Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and OpenAI technologies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to explain insights to technical and non-technical audiences, and strong stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize work and deliver high-quality results in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of retail banking products and data-driven business operations
  • Experience with reporting automation, version control, and documentation best practices (for example, Bitbucket)
  • Proven ability to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leaders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, governance, and control standards
