Role overview

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Serve as a focal point for craft supervisors seeking current standards, codes, technical publications, inspection tools, and measuring instruments.
• Ensure inspection forms follow a standard format and are completed monthly; maintain quality records and applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate between the facility or vessel and Administrative Office on Corrective Action Register issue status.
• Assist in establishing measures for non-conformances such as production delays, unscheduled helicopter flights, and redundant vessel movements.
• Assist with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISM, and ISPS audit preparation and corrective action closures.
• Help expedite facility quality issues and assist with facility and vessel KPI measurements.
• Maintain registers for ladders, below-hook lifting devices, corrective actions, training, and MSDS.

Essential qualifications and education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills.
• Organized and disciplined, with well-developed communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with operational management throughout the organization.
