• Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and design to the design basis, project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Develop reliable, cost-effective solutions and apply specialist expertise to complex problems.
• Manage time and objectives; when acting as Lead Engineer, forecast and plan resource needs and direct large engineering teams.
• Lead discipline design execution within schedule, budget, standards, MDR, and project procedures when assigned as Lead Engineer.
• Plan discipline scope, deliverables, schedules, and workforce resources; identify interfaces and address progress or productivity issues.
• Review project scope, specifications, schedules, and interdisciplinary requirements; identify concerns early and take appropriate action.
• Interpret contractual engineering requirements, identify scope changes, submit change notifications, and support variation orders.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines and departments to develop clash-free designs and obtain inputs for designs and drawings.
• Prepare bid estimates, technical query reviews, execution statements, work-hour estimates, budgets, and execution plans.
• Prepare, review, and, as Lead Engineer, approve discipline design bases, philosophies, and technical specifications.
• Review deliverables and schedules, including construction sequence, milestones, fabrication schedules, and engineering scope.
• Attend kickoff, project review, vendor, and engineering meetings, and offshore site surveys as required; provide technical direction and review of process design work.
