Quality Intern

Job purpose

Responsibilities

• Verify Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs) are complete and accurate before storage; retrieve and check records as needed.
• Maintain SAP records after QC operations, including nonconformance entries, and complete related transactions.
• Document inspection outcomes and upload inspection reports and performance records.
• Ensure required stage inspections, including NDT, hardness, and coating checks, are completed.
• Maintain traceability of quality documentation, including material test certificates, supplier records, and MRBs.
• Maintain calibration records in the system and upload calibration records to the server.
• Interpret machine drawings and compare them with actual components.
• Assist third-party inspectors at internal facilities.
• Review customer quality requirements and seek clarifications or exceptions when needed.
• Recommend improvements to production processes and quality control.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree; work experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
• Prior internship experience in oil and gas or manufacturing companies.
• QC inspection knowledge.
• Good communication skills and operational computer knowledge.
• Understanding of any ERP software is nice to have.
