Role overview
Inspect and test refurbished mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and smartwatches to verify quality before delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect and functionally test refurbished phones, laptops, iPads, and smartwatches; check performance and condition before dispatch.
- Test display, touchscreen, battery, charging, cameras, speakers, microphones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ports, sensors, and connectivity.
- Inspect for scratches, dents, cracks, missing parts, and other cosmetic issues.
- Verify device specifications, operating system performance, and software functionality.
- Identify defects, prepare QC reports, and ensure devices meet refurbishment and quality standards.
- Maintain testing records, follow QC procedures, coordinate with repair and operations teams, and meet daily targets accurately.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mobile and laptop quality control, testing, or refurbishment.
- Strong knowledge of smartphones, MacBooks, Windows laptops, iPads, and smartwatches.
- Good understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting; ability to identify technical issues and quality defects.
- Experience inspecting refurbished electronic devices is preferred.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and good communication and teamwork skills.
- Level 2 repair knowledge is an added advantage.
