Quality Control Officer

To ensure that all the products meet the company’s quality standards, regulatory requirements, and food safety protocols by monitoring raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.

*Conduct quality checks on raw materials, packaging materials, and finished ice cream products.

*Monitor and record critical control points (CCPs) throughout the production process to ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, GMP).

*Perform sensory evaluation (taste, texture, appearance) of ice cream batches to ensure consistency and quality.

*Maintain accurate documentation and records for all inspections, test results, and quality deviations.

*Identify and report any non-conformances and coordinate with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

*Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation practices are followed in the production and storage areas.

*Conduct periodic calibration of equipment used in testing and production.

*Support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO, food safety, regulatory).

*Train production staff on basic quality control and hygiene procedures.

*Ensure compliance with local food regulatory authorities and company policies.

*Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Dairy Science, Microbiology, or a related field.

*3–5 years of experience in Quality Control within the food or dairy industry (ice cream experience preferred).

*Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and food safety standards.

*Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

*Good communication and teamwork abilities.

*Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
