Job Summary
The Van Salesman is responsible for delivering and selling Ice Cream directly to customers using a company van.
This role combines driving, merchandising, sales, and customer service, ensuring that the assigned route is efficiently covered and sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the sales van to assigned routes and visit existing and potential customers on a daily basis.
- Deliver and sell the Ice Cream.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Ensure proper display, merchandising, and stock rotation at the customer’s location.
- Collect payments (cash or credit) and issue invoices/receipts as required.
- Monitor stock levels in the van and restock as necessary.
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Ensure the van is clean, organized, and maintained in good working condition.
- Comply with all safety, traffic, and company regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in sales, especially field or van sales (preferred).
- Valid Type 3 Manual driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Basic math and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle lifting and loading.
- Self-motivated and results oriented.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
