Role overview

Responsibilities

• Determine quality improvement factors and ensure processes adhere to quality standards.
• Implement inspection, testing, and reliability evaluation methods for processes, products, and production equipment.
• Inspect finished products against company quality standards and customer expectations.
• Design and implement quality-control processes and procedures to improve departmental effectiveness.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; maintain quality documentation and records.
• Lead defect root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and train or support team members on procedures.
• Meet product or software delivery deadlines and monitor industry trends and regulations for compliance.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• The posting states a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a quality-control department at an automobile spare parts trading company and separately lists 3+ years in quality control.
• Prior experience in a similar role.
• CQE or equivalent certification is listed among qualifications.
• Quality management systems experience, including ISO 9001, and knowledge of quality-control methodologies are requested.
• The posting lists statistical analysis software proficiency and knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
