About the role

Plant and manufacturing QC

• Oversee quality control of mix design, casting, curing, and dimensional and surface inspection of precast panels.
• Implement and maintain ITPs, MIRs, and NCR systems across production.
• Audit vendors and raw materials, including cement, GRC fiber, and insulation cores.

Site installation QC

• Lead pre-installation panel inspections at offloading and document condition and responsibility for transit or handling damage.
• Enforce correct lifting, rigging, and storage protocols among subcontractor crews.
• Monitor plumb, level, alignment, and joint-width tolerances during installation.
• Inspect brackets, anchors, sealants, insulation strips, and other accessories for correct installation.

Wastage and subcontractor control

• Track panel wastage by batch and subcontractor and determine root causes, including factory defects, transit damage, mishandling, and design mismatch.
• Monitor accessory issuance and consumption against theoretical usage to control material leakage.
• Set and enforce subcontractor wastage benchmarks and report monthly trends to management.
• Work with Contracts and Procurement on accountability clauses for subcontractor-caused damage.

Team and compliance

• Build and manage a QA-QC team covering the factory and multiple concurrent project sites.
• Maintain ISO 9001 QMS compliance and represent the company in client and consultant quality audits.
• Coordinate quality matters with Production, Design, and Project Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• 12–15+ years of total QA-QC experience, including 5+ years in precast concrete/GRC/GRP panel manufacturing.
• Experience in both factory and site installation QC; UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of ACI/PCI/ASTM/BS EN standards and local authority approval requirements, including Dubai Municipality and Trakhees.
• Demonstrated quality management across multiple subcontractors with a focus on wastage reduction.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred; Six Sigma or Lean exposure is a plus.
• Strong documentation discipline and assertive communication with subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
