Accountable for implementing and maintaining the quality management system for a region, area, or large project.

Quality and project management
- Evaluate technician and inspector performance and manage vendor performance, including services from third-party engineering firms.
- Manage QC/QA projects by analyzing project data and communicating recommended actions.
- Interpret internal and owner/agency requirements and prepare quality-control plans.
- Monitor installation, workmanship against specifications and codes, document control, and completion and maintenance of required check sheets.
- Supervise site internal audits according to the Project Quality Plan and promote company safety procedures, including OSHA and MSHA compliance.
- Inspect site quality procedures and verify activities follow approved method statements and inspection test plans.
- Coordinate inspections and quality-problem meetings with consultant representatives and the site in-charge, including closure of non-compliance reports.
- Oversee activity method statements, risk assessments, job safety and environmental analyses, inspection test plans, and specification-based checklists.
Qualifications and experience
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Eight years of experience in the transmission line/OHTL construction industry.
