Quality Assurance Evaluator

General Responsibilities

• Maintain and update facility Food Safety Plan and associated programs to ensure compliance with Airforce Food Service and contracting requirements.
• Performs inspections of dining facility to ensure sanitation standards are met in accordance with 2005 Food Code.
• Conduct pre-operational inspection and daily Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits.
• Identify nonconforming product, equipment, and materials and determine dispositions.
• Support pest control operations and document pest sightings
• Maintain deviation program, following up on issues and corrective actions, if necessary, based on deviations found in programs.
• Maintain corrective action tracker database to ensure continuous improvement activities cited from internal and external audits are acted upon and remain on track.
• Develop a constructive work environment through open communication and team building skills.
• Other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

• Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity in light of Allen Tharp attendance policy and operating hours
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Must comply with any dress code requirements
• Must have computer knowledge- able to type and enter data daily
• Current Serv-Safe certification a must
• A Valid State Driver License and reliable transportation with proof of insurance and current vehicle registration required

Physical Requirements

• Significant walking or other means of mobility
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and lift up to 50 pounds
• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses

Experience/Knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
