The employer seeks a qualified, detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer) for construction-industry work.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze Bills of Quantities and cost estimates.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare tender documents, commercial quotations, and cost breakdowns.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and budget requirements.
- Prepare interim payment applications, progress valuations, and final accounts.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Assist with tender preparation, cost planning, and commercial negotiations.
- Maintain accurate project cost, measurement, and related documentation records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the UAE construction industry.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and tendering.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Arabic proficiency is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 6,000–8,000 per month.
