Role purpose

Application delivery and support

• Provide solutions to user requirements and participate in executing IT strategy, including implementing KRIs and KPIs.
• Collaborate with analysts, designers, developers, and system owners on application support, development, and unit testing.
• Coordinate with developers on quality assurance, program logic, and data processing; help resolve system issues and emergencies.
• Participate in development and deployment of applications, system software, and enhancements; assess applications and recommend improvements.

Standards, integration, and documentation

• Ensure integrations meet business requirements, compliance standards, and interface specifications; promote development and quality assurance standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and specifications and maintain documentation, standards, and user guides.
• Follow project management standards, methodologies, controls, IT policies, procedures, and service-level agreements.

Analysis and coordination

• Understand user requirements and business processes, maintain knowledge of application architecture and dependencies, and assess system changes against the bank’s long-term strategy.
• Build working relationships with departments and business units and provide requested information to audit, compliance, financial control, and risk functions.
• Promote productivity, efficiency, cost consciousness, and optimized resource use; remain current with technology and banking systems.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in financial services.
• Experience in web and/or mobile application development and supporting Core Banking Applications.
• Strong development experience in Core Banking platforms, including IBM System i.
• Relevant technical training and certifications are preferred.
