Position summary
Perform analyses of clinical chemistry, co-oximeter, coagulation, and/or microbiology controls and reagents using automated and manual techniques under established Quality and GMP requirements.
Essential functions
- Perform automated and manual assays under departmental and plant SOPs and QC monographs for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Interpret results against specifications and decide whether assays pass or fail.
- Document work in accordance with GMP requirements.
- Perform product stability, proficiency, and environmental testing.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, clean, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Science or Medical Technology, or equivalent, required.
- Ability to lift and move materials under current OSHA standards.
Hourly wage
- The stated hourly wage range is $22 to $24.
