Join a retail bank's technology team to ensure the quality and reliability of banking applications through manual and automated testing.
Work with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify defects and verify applications meet user requirements and industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure broad test coverage.
- Execute and evaluate manual and automated tests to identify defects and issues.
- Work with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve software defects.
- Conduct user acceptance testing to check that banking applications meet user requirements.
- Improve testing processes and strategies to enhance software quality.
- Participate in Agile stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- At least five years of QA testing experience in the banking industry.
- Strong expertise in manual testing, automation testing tools, and user acceptance testing.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Agile development experience is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
