Join a retail bank's technology team as a QA Tester responsible for the quality and reliability of banking applications.
Work with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify defects and verify applications against user requirements and industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to provide broad test coverage.
- Execute and evaluate manual and automated test cases to identify defects and issues.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve software defects.
- Conduct user acceptance testing to verify banking applications meet user requirements.
- Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance software quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Have at least five years of QA testing experience within the banking industry.
- Bring strong expertise in manual testing, automation testing tools, and user acceptance testing.
- Understand software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Have analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Agile development experience is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
