About the role
Join a retail bank technology team as a QA Tester focused on the quality and reliability of banking applications.
Work with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify defects and verify applications against user requirements and industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure broad test coverage.
- Execute and evaluate manual and automated test cases to identify defects.
- Work with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve software defects.
- Conduct user acceptance testing against banking application requirements.
- Improve testing processes and strategies and participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- At least five years of QA testing experience in the banking industry.
- Strong expertise in manual testing, automation testing tools, and user acceptance testing.
- Solid understanding of software testing methods, tools, and best practices.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective cross-functional communication and collaboration.
- Agile development experience is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
