Role overview
QA-QC Quality Engineer role for the South region of India, focused on ensuring customer specifications, standards, and expectations are achieved or exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Conduct QA-QC activities, including pre-production meetings and fabric evaluation.
- Perform inline inspections, production monitoring, final random inspections, and loading supervision.
- Support quality troubleshooting with the Technical Manager or Supervisor; identify and promptly escalate discrepancies or quality concerns.
- Prepare accurate, professional inspection reports within 24 hours.
- Coordinate closely with the QA-QC team, particularly for urgent shipment requirements.
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, confidentiality requirements, and professional ethics.
Qualifications and skills
- Degree in Textile, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
- Three to five years of work experience and familiarity with consumer products quality assurance or control, especially in apparel.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
