About This Role
Overview
- Develop, implement, and maintain
Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- in line with ISO 9001:2015 or company standards.
- Prepare and update
- Quality Plans, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- for joinery and fit-out works.
- Conduct
- incoming material inspections
- for timber, boards, veneers, laminates, hardware, finishes, adhesives, and accessories.
- Verify compliance of materials with approved submittals, samples, and technical data sheets.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Production Managers, Factory Supervisors, and Site Engineers on quality matters.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, approvals, NCRs, and corrective actions.
- Prepare
Inspection Requests (IRs)
- and ensure timely approvals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, EN, local authority requirements).
- Ensure products meet fire rating, environmental, sustainability, and safety requirements where applicable.
- Analyze recurring defects and quality issues to identify root causes.
- Propose improvements to manufacturing processes, materials, and inspection methods.
