Implements and monitors the Project Quality Management System, quality plans, ITPs, method statements, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of the Project Quality Management System and approved Project Quality Plan and IMS procedures.
- Submit Work Inspection Requests, coordinate consultant inspections and approvals, and check construction against specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
- Inspect incoming materials and monitor inspections, test reports, and quality records; report status to the QA/QC Manager and project team.
- Establish and maintain QA/QC plans, method statements, ITPs, and other quality documents; verify submissions are approved before work begins.
- Manage document control and distribution of approved documents.
- Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are implemented.
- Maintain inspection, testing, and quality records; identify non-conformities and follow corrective and preventive actions through closure.
- Verify completed works meet quality, regulatory, and client requirements before handover.
Experience requirements
- At least 5 years of total professional experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction, engineering, or building services projects.
- Experience with quality systems, inspections, quality documentation, consultant and client coordination, WIRs, material inspections, testing, and project quality compliance.
- At least 2 years of GCC experience is preferred.
Knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of applicable international and local quality standards, including ISO 9001, QCS, SMACNA, ASHRAE, and NFPA.
- Strong knowledge of QMS and IMS, including assurance processes, audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, method statements, ITPs, and quality procedures.
- Knowledge of local regulations, construction standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
- ERP knowledge, preferably SAP; proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management tools.
