Overview
The QA/QC Engineer – Electrical is responsible for quality assurance and control of all electrical installations on construction projects.
The role ensures all LV, ELV, and electrical systems meet contractual specifications, approved submittals, and UAE authority standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ITPs for electrical works including cable installation, containment, DB installation, earthing, and ELV systems.
- Conduct quality inspections at all stages of electrical installation and document findings.
- Raise and track NCRs; follow up corrective and preventive actions to closure.
- Verify incoming electrical materials and equipment against approved material submittals.
- Witness and document electrical testing and commissioning activities (IR testing, continuity, HV testing).
- Review method statements for electrical works and ensure site compliance.
- Liaise with DEWA, SEWA, and other UAE electrical authorities on inspection and approval matters.
- Prepare discipline-specific QAQC reports and contribute to overall project quality reporting.
