The employer seeks a qualified QA/QC Engineer with construction experience in the UAE.
The role ensures construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and local authority requirements.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures on site.
- Prepare and follow up Inspection and Test Plans, Method Statements, and Quality Plans.
- Inspect ongoing construction works for compliance with specifications and standards; coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors.
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documents; document inspections, test results, and quality records.
- Raise and close NCRs and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Monitor workmanship and adherence to approved procedures; ensure compliance with ISO 9001.
- Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors on quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with UAE codes, standards, and local authority requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of QA/QC experience on construction projects within the UAE.
- Good knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations.
- Experience in building, infrastructure, or MEP projects, as applicable.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Immediate availability is an advantage.
