QA/QC Civil Engineer
About This Role
Job Overview Responsible for ensuring quality compliance of all civil works related to substations, including foundations, structures, and infrastructure works, in line with SEC standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement QA/QC procedures for civil works
- Review drawings, BOQ, and specifications
- Conduct inspections (concrete, excavation, backfilling, steel works)
- Prepare ITPs, method statements, and quality reports
- Ensure compliance with SEC and project specifications
- Coordinate with site engineers and consultants
- Monitor subcontractors’ work quality
- Handle NCRs and corrective actions
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Minimum 4 years of experience, including substation projects
- SEC approval required
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems and civil standards
- Experience in concrete works, foundations, and structural works
- Familiar with testing procedures (soil, concrete, etc.)
- Good reporting and documentation skills
