Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and certified QA Manager to oversee and govern the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) ecosystem for our Saudi Aramco pipeline projects.

This role requires a meticulous technical leader responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Project Quality Plan across all phases of cross-country pipeline infrastructure.

The successful candidate will ensure that engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning strictly align with Saudi Aramco’s stringent quality requirements, international standards, and contractual obligations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Quality Leadership:
  • Provide comprehensive oversight of the project's quality lifecycle, establishing a proactive quality culture across site execution, procurement, and subcontractor operations.

• Aramco Liaison & Compliance

  • Serve as the primary interface with Saudi Aramco Inspection Departments and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and facilitate technical reviews, quality audits, and pre-commissioning assessments.
  • Standards Governance:
  • Oversee the absolute implementation of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Saudi Aramco Materials System Specifications (SAMSS), and Standard Drawings across civil, mechanical, welding, and E&I disciplines.

• Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

Formulate, review, and secure client approval for project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Procedures, ensuring all hold, witness, and review points are strictly executed.

• Defect & Audit Management

Lead internal and external quality audits.

Identify non-conformances (NCRs), analyze root causes, implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and track them to closeout.

• Welding & NDT Oversight

  • Ensure strict governance of welding procedures (WPS/PQR), welder qualifications, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methodologies critical to cross-country pipeline integrity.
  • Reporting:
  • Deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly quality progress reports, KPI metrics, and technical quality documentation to senior management and the client.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Metallurgical preferred) or a relevant technical discipline.
  • Aramco Approval:
  • Must possess valid, prior Saudi Aramco approval as a QA Manager, with deep familiarity with the SAPMT (Saudi Aramco Project Management Team) inspection systems.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 12–15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically in cross-country pipeline construction, with at least 5–8 years in a senior quality management role.
  • Certifications:
  • Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001:2015).
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CSWIP 3.1/3.2, AWS-CWI, BGAS-CSWIP, or NACE/AMPP) are highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software; deep knowledge of SAES, SAMSS, ASME, API, and ASTM codes.
