Qualifications

• 5G SMF QA Architect — Key Responsibilities
• Define end‐to‐end QA strategy and architecture for the 5G Session Management Function (SMF)
• Design test coverage for PDU session lifecycle: creation, modification, release, and error handling
• Validate SMF interfaces and interactions with AMF, UPF, PCF, UDM using SBA (HTTP/2, REST)
• Ensure compliance with 3GPP specifications (SMF, QoS, charging, policy control)
• Drive automation‐first testing (functional, API, regression) integrated with CI/CD pipelines
• Architect performance, scalability, and latency testing for CPS, session scale, QoS flows
• Lead resiliency, failover, and chaos testing for cloud‐native SMF deployments
• Define network slicing and QoS flow validation scenarios
• Ensure security testing for signaling, APIs, and data protection
• Standardize test environments using Kubernetes, containers, and cloud platforms
• Define quality gates, KPIs, and release exit criteria for SMF deliveries
• Mentor QA engineers and review test designs and automation frameworks
• Collaborate with Product, Development, DevOps, and Architecture teams to embed quality early
