🔍 About the Role

We are looking for a Renewable Energy PV Project Manager – KSA to support the delivery of commercial and industrial solar PV projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Experience with BESS or hybrid energy projects would be a strong advantage.

This is a hands-on project delivery role focused on the site-based execution of solar PV projects from mobilisation, EPC and subcontractor coordination, progress tracking, and project controls through to quality inspections, commissioning, documentation, and handover.

Working under the direction of the Senior Project Manager, you will act as YDE’s on-site representative, ensuring EPC contractors deliver safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with YDE’s technical, contractual, HSE, and quality standards.

This role is best suited to a project professional with strong solar PV construction experience, practical engineering knowledge, and the discipline to manage daily site execution, contractor performance, project controls, variations, and reporting in a fast-moving, site-based environment.

⚡ What You’ll Deliver & Own

In this role, you will support the successful delivery of commercial and industrial solar PV projects across KSA, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to YDE’s technical and quality standards.

You Will

• Drive day-to-day site execution, EPC and subcontractor coordination, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
• Translate approved PV designs, drawings, schedules, and project plans into contractor-ready execution activities.
• Monitor EPC contractor and subcontractor performance, review look-ahead schedules, challenge recovery plans, and maintain accurate site records.
• Support project controls and contract administration activities, including contractor payment application review, milestone tracking, variation inputs, and time/cost impact assessment.
• Track critical project controls, including RFIs, technical queries, drawing revisions, submittals, procurement dependencies, risks, costs, variations, and reporting.
• Support HSE leadership on site through toolbox talks, inspections, permit-to-work processes, incident reporting, and corrective action follow-up.
• Conduct quality inspections at key hold points, including piling, racking, DC cabling, AC works, switchgear installation, and inverter commissioning.
• Support commissioning, punch-list close-out, handover documentation, and transition to Asset Management and O&M teams.

🛠️ What You Must Bring

To Be Successful In This Role, You Must Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Mechanical or Civil Engineering may also be considered.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in project management or site engineering for EPC/construction projects.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in solar PV or renewable energy projects.
• Hands-on experience managing solar PV construction sites, including DC and AC electrical works, mounting structure installation, inverter commissioning, and grid interconnection.
• Strong experience coordinating EPC contractors and project subcontractors, including progress tracking, RFIs, submittals, variation inputs, payment application review, project documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Practical experience with PVsyst, MS Project or Primavera P6, and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of the KSA or regional construction environment, including SEC standards, municipality permit processes, and site safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across KSA.

Strong Advantage We would especially like to hear from candidates who also have:

• PMP, IPMA Level D/C, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience delivering C&I grid-tied solar PV projects in the 1 MW–20 MW range.
• BESS or hybrid energy project experience.
• Arabic language skills or strong experience working in Arabic-speaking site environments.
