Role overview

Procurement and supplier management

• Source construction materials, equipment, tools, machinery, and operational supplies; obtain and evaluate multiple supplier quotations.
• Prepare RFQs, purchase orders, and procurement documentation; negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract conditions.
• Check purchases against project specifications, quality standards, and budgets; monitor market prices and supplier performance.
• Maintain supplier databases, evaluate suppliers, build vendor relationships, identify alternative sources, and resolve supplier quality, delivery, and invoicing issues.

Project, inventory, and logistics coordination

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and quantity surveyors and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
• Track material needs against schedules and construction progress, manage long-lead items, and coordinate new-project mobilisation.
• Monitor stock and replenishment, prevent shortages and excess inventory, and support cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing.
• Maintain purchase records, assist with budget monitoring and forecasting, and coordinate procurement across multiple project sites.
• Follow up on deliveries and shipments, coordinate transport, track delays, and work with warehouse and site teams on receipt of goods.

Documentation and compliance

• Maintain purchase orders, contracts, supplier agreements, and procurement records.
• Follow company procurement policies and approval procedures and comply with legal and contractual obligations.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes; coordinate payments and supplier reconciliations with finance.

Construction and real estate procurement

• Procure cement, steel, concrete products, MEP and finishing materials, and site equipment.
• Support residential, commercial, mixed-use, and infrastructure projects and align procurement with project timelines and client requirements.
• Review technical specifications and BOQs with engineering teams and assist with subcontractor and service-provider sourcing when required.

Pay

• Pay is QAR 4,500–5,500 per month.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies, approval procedures, and legal and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with finance on supplier payments and reconciliations; verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Coordinate transportation, deliveries, and receipt of materials with warehouse and site teams.
