Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Purchasing Officer to join our Property Management and Maintenance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely procurement of maintenance-related products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase materials, tools, equipment, and services required for maintenance operations.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Create and manage purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock management activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurement role.
- Experience in the Property Management, Facilities Management, or Maintenance industry is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of local suppliers and the UAE market.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software/ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
