Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overall management of the Purchasing Department and for the provision of day-to-day activities including purchasing, receiving, and shipping while ensuring appropriate approvals. Responsible for vendor correspondence, price and product research and excellent record-keeping.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• One year of Management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general Materials Management operations.
• Excellent computer skills including Excel.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Data entry experience is highly desirable. MCMH is located about five miles north of Interstate-10, approximately 50 miles east of Tallahassee, Florida. Madison is the county seat of a county with a population of approximately 20,000. The county’s economic base is agriculture, State correctional facility, school district, local government and small retail.
