- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company objectives and project budgets.
- Plan and manage end-to-end purchasing of materials, equipment, tools, and services in line with project schedules and BOQ requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
- Float enquiries, prepare comparative statements, and issue purchase orders (LPOs) with accurate specifications and commercial terms.
- Maintain and develop an approved vendor database; conduct periodic supplier evaluation and performance reviews.
- Coordinate closely with project, estimation, and site teams to forecast requirements and prevent material shortages or delays.
- Monitor and control procurement budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on spend versus budget.
- Manage logistics, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure timely availability of materials at site or warehouse.
- Oversee inventory levels in coordination with stores to optimise stock and minimise wastage and carrying costs.
- Ensure all purchasing activity complies with internal controls, contractual obligations, and UAE regulations.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies, delivery disputes, and quality issues with suppliers in coordination with accounts and QA/QC.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the procurement team, setting clear KPIs and performance standards.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
- Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
