Role overview

Purchasing and supplier management

• Develop purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives, operations, and budgets.
• Oversee sourcing, supplier selection, purchase orders, and order tracking; identify and evaluate suppliers.

• Manage supplier contracts, purchasing documents, and procurement records; lead and develop the purchasing team.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, logistics, and operations teams to align purchasing with business needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager, Purchasing Supervisor, or in a similar procurement role.
• A relevant bachelor’s degree is preferred, including in supply chain, procurement, business administration, finance, or logistics.
• Knowledge of purchasing, procurement strategy, supplier management, and inventory control.
• Negotiation, contract management, supplier relationship management, supplier evaluation, quotation comparison, and purchase-order experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing, inventory, or ERP systems.
• Analytical, financial, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple activities, meet deadlines, forecast requirements, manage budgets, and lead a team.
• Knowledge of import/export, international sourcing, trade documentation, relevant certifications, and experience in supply-chain-related industries are advantages.
