Purchasing and Material Planner
Role Overview
Ever wondered what it takes to keep thousands of much-loved garden products moving off the line and into Aussie and Kiwi backyards? As our Purchasing & Material Planner at Mt Druitt, one of the largest and most complex manufacturing sites in the Yates Group, you'll be the one making sure production never misses a beat.
Working hand in hand with our Production Planner, you'll turn the production plan into action. You'll spot missing components early, raise purchase orders on time and keep raw materials, packaging and third-party bulk flowing to the site. With around 3,000 SKUs in Australia and more than 1,000 in New Zealand, no two days will look the same.
This isn't a role where you sit behind a screen all day. You'll work with people right across the site, building strong relationships, solving problems together and bringing fresh ideas to how we do things.
Our Benefits:
Up to $1,000 net annually to cover private health extras gap costs
Exclusive discounts on DuluxGroup products and partner offers
Stay active anytime, anywhere through our partnership with Fitness Passport
20 weeks paid parental leave (primary carers) and 2 weeks partner leave from day one
Market leading learning, development and career pathways
Access to our Wellbeing Hub and full EAP support
Recognition programs that celebrate your impact
What you'll bring
3 to 4 years' experience in supply chain, procurement or planning
Manufacturing experience, ideally with complex product ranges
