Purchasing Agent

Responsible for purchasing of components and parts of Natural Gas Compressor packages.

Primary focus on CAT engines, Ariel compressors available from industry suppliers.

Specific functions:

• Researching products and comparing prices
• Assessing the quality and reliability of potential suppliers
• Soliciting bids from potential suppliers
• Tracking purchases and shipments
• Reviewing requisition forms, including the vendor, dates of approval and product quantity
• Work with F&A and Operations to cost AFE's and work orders; track AFE spend, reconcile AFE at project close
• Forecasting inventory requirements
• Administering vendor contracts, including drafting and following up on those needing renewal
