Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the sourcing of suppliers, vendors, and materials as per company requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and negotiate prices when required.
• Prepare and process purchase orders (PO) accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with suppliers for order confirmations, delivery schedules, and shipments.
• Track and follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain and update procurement records, purchase files, and supplier database.
• Assist in resolving issues related to delayed deliveries, defective goods, or incorrect invoices.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Inventory, Accounts, etc.) to understand purchasing needs.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure timely reordering of materials.
• Support in preparing reports on purchases, costs, and supplier performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role preferred.
• Good knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor management.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Experience in manufacturing, retail, construction, FMCG, etc.].
