Role overview
Manage purchasing and inventory for café supplies, including food, beverages, packaging, and cleaning materials.
Responsibilities
- Source suppliers and negotiate competitive prices while maintaining quality; compare quotations and monitor market prices.
- Manage supplier relationships and identify new vendors.
- Maintain optimum stock levels, prevent shortages, overstocking, wastage, and expiry, and follow FIFO/FEFO practices.
- Monitor product quality, quantity, freshness, and specifications; reconcile stock.
- Maintain purchasing and inventory records in the system and coordinate with the Chef, Kitchen, Stores, and Operations teams.
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience; food and beverage, restaurant, café, or hotel experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of UAE suppliers and local markets.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and price-comparison skills, plus inventory and stock-management experience.
- Knowledge of inventory or purchasing software is preferred; UAE experience is preferred.
- Candidates currently based in Abu Dhabi are preferred.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Pay
- AED 3,000–3,500 per month.
