Role overview
Manage purchasing and supplier relationships for café food, beverages, packaging, cleaning materials, and other supplies.
Responsibilities
- Source suppliers, negotiate prices without compromising quality, compare quotations, and monitor market prices.
- Maintain stock levels; prevent shortages, overstocking, wastage, and expiry; apply FIFO/FEFO and reconcile stock.
- Monitor product quality, quantity, freshness, and specifications; maintain purchasing and inventory records.
- Coordinate with the Chef, Kitchen, Stores, and Operations teams.
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience; F&B, restaurant, café, or hotel experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of UAE suppliers and local markets; UAE experience is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, price-comparison, and inventory or stock-management skills.
- Purchasing or inventory software experience is preferred.
- Flexible to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Pay
- AED 3,000–3,500 per month.
