PURCHASE & LOGISTICS OFFICER

Job Summary

• Our company is looking for an experienced **Purchase & Logistics Officer** with a strong background in the **Food & Beverage (F&B)** industry.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement, supplier coordination, inventory management, and logistics operations to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of products.
• ***Key Responsibilities:***
• Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order status.
• Coordinate import and export shipments.
• Arrange transportation and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Coordinate with warehouses to ensure stock availability.
• Track shipments and resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain procurement and logistics records.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and Operations departments.
• Ensure all purchasing and logistics activities comply with company procedures.
• ***Requirements:***
• **Minimum 3 years of UAE experience** in Purchasing and Logistics.
• **Experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry is mandatory.**
• Experience in **General Trading** is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of sourcing **fresh produce, frozen foods, meat, poultry, beverages, FMCG, or food products**.
• Strong supplier negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Experience with inventory management and stock control.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and UAE logistics processes.
• Experience using ERP systems is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• **Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.**
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• ***Preferred Qualifications:***
• Experience handling local and overseas suppliers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
