Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Purchase Executive** to oversee procurement operations within our Advertising / Production department and work closely with our US Head Office during evening shift hours.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supplier coordination, price evaluation, system updates, and invoicing support to ensure efficient and cost-effective purchasing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers for inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and purchase order placement
- Evaluate and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, quotations, and supplier communications
- Update purchase, sales, and inventory data in the system accurately
- Monitor pending orders and proactively follow up to avoid delays
- Work closely with Sales and Accounts teams to ensure smooth documentation and order processing
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within Advertising or Production companies
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of Advertising / Production materials and processes is an advantage
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to analyze quotations and pricing structures effectively
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent coordination, follow-up, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
