Public Relations Officer (Emiratization)

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is a pivotal role within Mtransform's Administration and Government Affairs function. The PRO acts as the primary liaison between Mtransform and all relevant government authorities, ensuring full regulatory compliance across licensing, immigration, labour, and corporate documentation. This is an ideal role for an Emirati with strong knowledge of government systems, processes, and portals, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced, professionally managed organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Government Liaison & Relations
- Serve as the official point of contact between Mtransform and all government departments including TAMM, MOHRE, ICP, ADJD, DED, ADNOC, HAAD/DOH, and other relevant authorities.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with government officials, PRO counterparts, and typing centres.
- Represent Mtransform professionally in all government offices and public-facing interactions.
Visa & Immigration
- Process all employee visa transactions including new employment visas, renewals, cancellations, and transfers.
- Manage visit visas, mission visas, and dependent visas for employees and their families.
- Coordinate Emirates ID applications, renewals, and cancellations in a timely manner.
- Handle entry permits, status changes, and immigration-related queries end to end.
Labour & Employment Compliance
- Process labour contracts, labour cards, and work permits through the MOHRE portal.
- Ensure all employee files are compliant with Labour Law and remain audit-ready at all times.
- Submit and follow up on Emiratization (NAFIS) registrations, quotas, and incentive claims.
- Manage WPS (Wages Protection System) compliance documentation as required.
Licensing & Corporate Documentation
- Renew and maintain Mtransform's trade licence, establishment card, chamber memberships, and all commercial registrations.
- Process company attestations, notarisations, and Ministerial approvals as required.
- Manage all Tawteen, MOHRE, and free zone-related corporate compliance submissions.
Internal Administration
- Maintain a proactive tracker for all visa, licence, and documentation expiry dates to ensure zero lapses.
- Liaise with HR and Finance to coordinate document requirements, invoices, and payments to government entities.
- Provide timely updates and guidance to employees regarding their visa status and documentation.
- Draft formal letters, NOCs, and official correspondence in Arabic and English.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 1–4 years of experience in a PRO, government relations, or administration role.
- Strong working knowledge of government portals: TAMM, MOHRE (Tasheel), ICP (GDRFA), ADJD, DED, and Amer centres.
- Fluency in Arabic (essential) and proficiency in English — written and spoken.
- Valid driving licence.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a technology, consulting, or professional services company.
- Familiarity with NAFIS/Emiratization incentive schemes and reporting.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi-specific authority portals and free zone entities (e.g. ADGM, KIZAD).
- Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems.
