Public Relations Officer

About This Role

The PRO at Segrex Construction LLC is responsible for managing all government-related processes and ensuring full compliance with UAE laws and regulations. The role acts as the main liaison between the company and government authorities for visas, labour cards, Emirates IDs, trade licenses, and other official documentation. In a construction environment, the PRO also handles project-related permits and approvals to support smooth site mobilization and operations. The position works closely with HR, Finance, and Project teams to ensure employees and projects remain fully compliant and operational without delays.

3. Key Responsibilities:

Government Relations & Liaison

• Act as the company’s official representative with UAE government authorities (MOHRE, GDRFA, DED, Municipality, RTA etc.) 

• Maintain strong working relationships with immigration, labor, and licensing departments 

• Ensure smooth coordination for approvals, permits, and compliance matters related to construction operations 

Visa & Immigration Processing

• Handle all employee visa processes including new visas, renewals, cancellations, and transfers 

• Manage Emirates ID applications, medical fitness tests, and residency stamping 

• Process dependent visas for employees and ensure timely renewals 

• Coordinate labor cards and work permits for site and office staff 

Company Licensing & Legal Documentation

• Manage trade license issuance, renewal, and amendments 

• Process company registration updates with relevant authorities 

• Ensure all company legal documents are valid and compliant 

• Handle notarization, attestation, and chamber of commerce requirements 

Construction Permits & Project Approvals

• Obtain construction-related permits (building permits, site access, fit-out approvals) 

• Coordinate with Dubai Municipality and other regulatory bodies for project approvals 

• Ensure timely clearance of site mobilization and demobilization requirements 

Project & Site Government Support

• Facilitate site access passes, security approvals, and gate permits for workers and staff 

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure all government-related requirements are met before mobilization 

• Support engineers and project managers with authority submissions 

Compliance & Record Management

• Maintain accurate records of all employee documents and company licenses 

• Track visa, license, and permit expiry dates to avoid penalties 

• Ensure full compliance with UAE labor law and immigration regulations 

Coordination with Internal Departments

• Work closely with HR for onboarding and employee documentation 

• Support Finance/Admin teams with government fees, invoices, and filings 

• Liaise with project management teams for approvals and manpower mobilization 

Reporting & Advisory

• Provide regular updates to management on government procedures and regulatory changes 

• Advise leadership on compliance risks and process improvements 

• Stay updated on UAE labor law and construction authority regulations
