Role overview

Proposal and tender management

• Lead end-to-end RFP/RFQ responses, including process planning, evaluations, scheduling, content, formatting, and pricing strategies.
• Develop tender strategies with internal stakeholders and prepare technical and commercial clarifications, assumptions, exceptions, and risk mitigations.
• Coordinate risk reviews and help finalize proposals for submission; maintain sales tools, knowledge platforms, and templates.

Cost estimation and technical design

• Develop costing methodologies and pricing workflows; prepare estimates aligned with technical designs and commercial targets.
• Review supplier quotations and equipment selections, support negotiations, and drive cost reductions toward target margins.
• Validate process schemes and treatment designs, define performance guarantees and treatment objectives, and coordinate multidisciplinary proposal packages.

Documentation and vendors

• Prepare technical write-ups, process plant descriptions, datasheets, design reports, and tender deliverables.
• Oversee PFDs, BFDs, mass balances, and 2D layouts; use AutoCAD for PDFs, P&IDs, preliminary layouts, and process schematics.
• Engage vendors, consultants, and contractors for quotations; assess compliance, negotiate pricing, and incorporate vendor inputs into designs and estimates.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental, mechanical, or process engineering.
• 8–10 years of process design and proposal development experience in water and wastewater treatment systems and large-scale FPSO projects.
• Demonstrated proposal experience for major FPSO and offshore oil and gas projects, including complex technical coordination, cost estimation, and tender management.
• Experience with offshore-facility waste management systems is highly desirable.

Technical qualifications

• Strong knowledge of DAF, MMF, MBR, MBBR, UF, RO, evaporators, and ZLD systems.
• Process calculations, system optimization, PFDs, BFDs, and mass/energy balances.
• Experience with detail engineering, control narratives, O&M manuals, and technical documentation.
• AutoCAD proficiency and preparation of tender drawings and technical deliverables.
• System commissioning familiarity; HAZOP/SIL experience is a plus.

• Strong organization, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; able to manage competing priorities.
• Analytical, solution-oriented, commercially aware, highly numerate, detail-focused, and proactive.
